Alex Duncan, Co-founder and CEO
Alex has led the business through significant changes from a zero revenue base to being a multi-million Euro global enterprise with customers all over the world. Alex is responsible for leading Openmind to greater growth through the development and implementation of our corporate strategy.
Previous to Openmind, Alex held the role as Head of Messaging in LogicaCMG, where his team architected, delivered and supported mobile messaging infrastructure for operators globally. Alex holds a Trinity College M.Sc. (Mgmt) International Business together with a primary degree in Electronic Engineering also from Trinity College Dublin. Alex has held many varied roles from senior software management to operations management and pre-sales in global organisations including Siemens and Westinghouse.
Brian Kelly, Co-founder and CTO
Brian is responsible for the overall technical strategy at Openmind, driving innovation for existing and new product development. Brian has a wealth of experience from the messaging industry, for example, while at LogicaCMG, Brian was responsible for increasing the performance of the original Telepath SMSC architecture by two orders of magnitude and for designing and implementing their next generation messaging architecture for both SMS and MMS (Picasso). Brian is a serving member of the GSMA Advisory Board.
Billy Shekleton, Co-founder and CFO
As Chief Financial Officer, Billy is responsible for the accounting, risk management, reporting and financial control activities and functions at Openmind. Previously, Billy spent 20 years with a number of high profile companies within the telecom and computer industry. Billy is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
