Portico Cloud is delivered as a cloud-based service.
All management and support of the service is provided by Openmind, freeing the mobile operator from the responsibility of purchasing and maintaining hardware and any system administration, management or support. All of these functions are provided by Openmind as part of the Portico service.
Portico Cloud is based on Openmind’s Mixed Media Core technology that has been deployed in over 50 systems worldwide. Portico Cloud is the main integration point for operator deployments. It delivers billing, OA&M, BSS and OSS interfaces for mobile operators over a secure VPN.
