What you will be doing as a Release Engineer

As a Release Engineer with us, you will be ensuring that customer platforms are always on the latest software version, through the application of DevOps processes for the latest cloud-native platforms and their predecessors. You will be surpassing customer expectations by ensuring a coordinated plan is in place to keep the customers on the latest software versions of our platforms.

What you will be responsible For

  • The Release Engineer will be ensuring that customers are up to date with the latest version of released software for both customer production and staging environments.
  • You will be actively involved in ensuring that the operations teams will have a reduction in open tickets KPI as a result of a reduced number of software versions in customer environments.
  • The Release Engineer will be responsible for agreeing on a patch schedule with our customers and maintenance of this plan going forward.
  • You will actively work with the Engineering team to ensure schedules are met and ensure that the Operations team’s OKRs are met.


  • You will have strong customer technical support experience in the telecoms or IT areas and have experience in Linux administration and CICD.
  • You have a proven ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • You are a passionate and positive person, who loves to take accountability and pride in your work.
  • Customer focus and ability to work cross-functionally in a strong team environment are areas of strength for you and you are continuously looking to develop yourself.
