Operator investment in virtualisation and messaging consolidation spurs revenue increase
21st July, 2016, Dublin, Ireland: Mobile messaging company Openmind Networks today announced a strong growth in revenue, with an overall increase of 35% in the past two years. This represents a significant uplift for the company, whose worldwide customer base has grown with the addition of over 20 new customers in the last two years. The growth in revenue is attributable to the vendor’s leadership in replacing and consolidating legacy messaging systems, as well as its leading software portfolio which is ready for future generations of IP networks, including 4G, 5G and virtualised architectures.

In the past two years, Openmind has announced partnerships with global operators, including BICS, Vimpelcom and T-Mobile Austria. Most recently, Openmind announced a new partnership with Tier 1 Belgian operator Proximus, to replace its legacy SMSC and SMS firewall with Openmind’s virtualised environment. Openmind also recently announced that it is enabling A1 Telekom Austria to provide seamless Voice over LTE (VoLTE) and instant messaging experience for its customers in Vienna, Austria.
